We prepared a composite utilities drawing that brings together confirmed affected assets and unaffected confirmations in a single, easy to read plan. The drawing shows overhead and buried assets with clear symbology, and includes OS gridlines for quick orientation. Smart, interactive PDFs allow the team to navigate sheets and notes with ease.
Scope and process
- Contacted statutory undertakers and telecoms providers for up to date records
- Collated affected plans for BT, Northern Gas Networks, Northern Powergrid and Northumbrian Water
- Recorded unaffected confirmations from multiple operators and added them to the key
- Produced a composite drawing at scale for design and site planning

Notes and limitations
- PAS 128 Type D desktop study
- Digital deliverables intended as a visual guide, for detailed analysis refer to the original plans from each operator
- Site works should follow HSG47 for underground services, and GS6 for overhead lines
- Validity typically ninety days from the search date, operators may impose shorter periods
