We assembled a multi sheet composite utilities drawing along a transmission corridor in Wales. The drawing combines overhead and buried services, and highlights electricity distribution and gas assets, with water and telecoms clearly indicated. The output is supplied as smart, interactive PDFs with a sheet index, bookmarks and searchable notes for rapid navigation.
Scope and process
- Contacted network operators along the route and collated their responses
- Mapped affected services for BT, Cadent Gas, National Grid Electricity Distribution, National Grid Electricity Transmission and Welsh Water
- Recorded not affected confirmations from other operators along the corridor
- Produced a twenty sheet composite set for route optioning and design coordination

Notes and limitations
- PAS 128 Type D desktop study
- Digital deliverables intended as a visual guide, for detailed analysis refer to the original plans from each operator
- Site works should follow HSG47 for underground services, and GS6 for overhead lines
- Validity typically ninety days from the search date, operators may impose shorter periods
